La Mancha, being the world’s largest vineyard, has over 600.000 cultivated hectares. Its privileged position in the centre of the Peninsula has de advantage of some unique climate conditions for the vineyard’s growth. La Mancha is Spain’s largest region, with a total size of 30.700 square kilometers (which is half of the total region’s area).
This region, with a high winery tradition, is a mixture of different natural conditions (soil, weather, etc.) that yields to produce grape juice with outstanding characteristics. We can say that La Mancha is the ideal region for cultivating vineyards, obtaining fruits of an extraordinary quality, ripening and sanity.
Our white grape juices are produced with Airen variety. It has an early ripening, producing a medium, compact and regular bunch whose grapes are yellow, with a medium-thick skin and soft pulp, producing a colourless juice. This is the most characteristic grape variety in the South Meseta and one of the most cultivated in Spain (32%), being mostly located in Castilla-La Mancha. It is a very productive variety, very well adapted to the highly dry and warm climate, with very low cultivated practices.
Our red grape juices are produced with Bobal, Tempranillo and Garnacha Tintorera varieties, located mainly in the Albacete and Cuenca Provinces, with a perfect adaptation and productivity. They adapt perfectly either in warm and cold climate, producing under these conditions a more intense colour.
